What You’ll Actually Do
• Property Accounting: Manage the day-to-day accounting activities for company properties and operations.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare and review property-level financial statements in compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Transaction Processing: Process journal entries, reconcile accounts, and assist with monthly and year-end close procedures.
• Financial Analysis: Monitor revenue and expense allocations, supporting budgeting and forecasting initiatives.
• Operational Support: Maintain the general ledger, assist with audits, and respond to internal inquiries about financial performance, collaborating with operations and management.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Mid-level professional with strong knowledge of financial statements and accounting principles.
• Experience: 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, experience with accounting software (QuickBooks or similar platforms), and strong Excel skills for financial data analysis.
• Skills: Excellent organization and attention to detail, ability to manage multiple properties and transactions simultaneously, and strong communication skills with the ability to work independently remotely.
• Bonus: Experience with real estate, property management, or investment accounting, including property accounting, rental portfolio accounting, real estate investment reporting, construction or renovation cost tracking, multi-entity bookkeeping, or LLC accounting structures.
