What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Testing: Complete audit testing on financial statement accounts, including cash, accounts payable, or fixed assets.
• Data Analysis: Work with client personnel to reconcile account differences and analyze financial data.
• Report Drafting: Help draft management letter comments and contribute to the audit report.
• Client Interaction: Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Intern candidates must be currently working toward CPA Exam eligibility, with a minimum cumulative overall GPA of 3.0 and satisfactory academic performance in major-related coursework. This is an entry-level position.
• Experience: Solid technical accounting knowledge derived from academic studies is required.
• Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills, effective time management, close attention to detail, and the ability to work well with a team as well as independently.
• Bonus: Strong computer skills, including proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, a problem-solving attitude, willingness to take initiative, and reliable transportation for off-site meetings and events.
