This is an hourly leadership role within DSV, supporting projects across multiple locations with travel required. This position is an entry-level leadership opportunity crucial for overseeing production associates in tasks related to freight handling, material accounting, and the assembly and installation of server racks and their components. The role plays a vital part in ensuring operational excellence, process compliance, and safety within our complex logistics environment, contributing directly to steady goods supply worldwide.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Supervision: Supervise production associates performing critical tasks related to the loading and unloading of freight.
• Oversight: Oversee the precise assembly and installation of server racks and their complex components.
• Coordination: Organize and coordinate essential inventory activities including cycle counts, material replenishments, and accurate material returns.
• Compliance: Ensure that all adequate safety measures are strictly followed to protect both personnel and company property.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor work activities and meticulously examine production areas to guarantee accuracy, neatness, and full conformance to established policies and procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required for this entry-level leadership role, emphasizing a foundational understanding of operational principles.
• Experience: Generally prefer candidates with 3-6 years of experience within material handling operations, demonstrating a practical understanding of logistics workflows.
• Skills: Requires solid interpersonal skills for effective team guidance, strong analytical capabilities for problem-solving, and proficiency in utilizing multiple internal and external systems and dashboards to manage operations.
