• Mission: This person resolves complex compensation issues and provides guidance and support on compensation policies, calculations, and incentive programs to financial advisors and field leadership.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Advisor Support: Serve as a primary point of contact for Financial Advisors and Field Leadership, providing comprehensive compensation-related support through various channels.
• Issue Resolution: Respond to advisor inquiries by researching compensation questions, explaining policies, and resolving issues accurately and timely.
• Compensation Processing: Process and maintain advisor compensation split agreements, including creating, updating, validating, and researching arrangements.
• Discrepancy Investigation: Investigate compensation discrepancies by reviewing transactions, identifying root causes, and coordinating resolution efforts with internal business partners.
• Policy Compliance: Process compensation adjustments and corrections while ensuring strict adherence to established compensation policies, procedures, and controls.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High School diploma required.
• Experience: 1 to 2 years of related work experience, including strong data entry skills and comfort with Microsoft Office programs, especially Excel. Experience navigating various mainframe and LAN based systems is also required.
• Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills; ability to facilitate and respond effectively to customer inquiries; demonstrated ability to deal with confidential and sensitive interactions with field members.
• Bonus: Understanding of the Thrivent Financial field revenue program and its product portfolio, including non-proprietary products.
