This is a full-time internship at Whataburger, located in San Antonio, TX, with hybrid flexibility (on-site Monday through Thursday, remote Friday). What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Support: Champion risk, compliance, audit, and operational initiatives by providing direct support to the Enterprise Risk Management team.
• Research & Analysis: Execute comprehensive research to gather insights that inform business decisions and drive continuous process improvements.
• Data Reporting: Contribute to data analysis and reporting activities, utilizing tools and systems to track, organize, and analyze critical information.
• Project Collaboration: Engage actively with team members and cross-functional partners on assigned projects and deliverable execution.
• Efficiency Improvement: Identify and propose concrete opportunities to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to research, organize, and interpret information effectively; Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks; Effective verbal and written communication skills; Strong time management and organizational abilities.
• Bonus: Current enrollment in a degree program related to Finance, Accounting, Business, Risk Management, or a related field; Experience working with data analysis or reporting tools; Exposure to audit, compliance, or risk management concepts; Experience managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to learn new skills; Experience working on team-based projects or academic presentations.
