2027 Auditor Development Program (Intern Conversion) | Truist

The Tone:
This is a regular full-time position as part of a development program at Truist, located in the United States. What You’ll Actually Do
• Skill Development: Develop strong audit testing skills by following a structured framework.
• Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking to complete assurance work and advance documentation skills.
• Risk Application: Apply key risk concepts to audit-related scenarios, practicing risk identification and analysis.
• Team Collaboration: Work in cross-functional teams to develop and strengthen teamwork.
• Organizational Knowledge: Develop an understanding of multiple processes in a large financial services organization to serve clients while mitigating risks.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, or a related field, or equivalent education and relevant training or experience, for an early-career professional.
• Experience: Must have been a 2026 Truist Intern; other applicants will not be considered for this requisition.
• Skills: Good analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, ability to grasp underlying concepts in complex information, and good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Bonus: Working toward or possessing applicable professional certification(s) (e.g., Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA)) and advanced knowledge of key software products like Microsoft Excel and programming languages such as Python.
