2026 Management & Sales Training Program (Madison/North) | Sherwin-Williams

This is a full-time, entry-level role at Sherwin-Williams, located in Madison, WI. What You’ll Actually Do
• Train: Complete the accelerated 8-week training program and ongoing development to master all store operations, client relations, and internal strategies.
• Lead: Collaborate with store management to provide leadership and insight into the development and strategy of a million-dollar business.
• Sell: Grow the company’s market share by proactively selling high-quality products to large commercial users, including contractors, purchasing agents, and manufacturers.
• Serve: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by building positive relationships with wholesale and retail customers and providing effective product recommendations.
• Manage: Oversee daily store administration, maintain visual merchandising standards, ensure compliance with company policies, and support employee development and performance management.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level position requiring a Bachelor’s degree by the start of the development program.
• Experience: Must possess a valid, unrestricted Driver’s License. No prior work experience is explicitly required for entry into the program.
• Skills: Ability to learn and apply knowledge of store operations, internal strategy, customer service, and sales techniques to grow market share.
• Bonus: At least one year of experience in a retail, sales, customer service, or leadership role; experience working in a team-oriented setting; prior experience selling paint and paint-related products; familiarity with timekeeping or CRM systems; willingness to relocate for future job opportunities; or proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish.
