Senior Auditor (US) – Financial Crimes | TD Bank

The Senior Auditor contributes to maintaining robust internal controls and supports the integrity of the bank’s operations through meticulous audit execution.

• Mission: Execute audits for an assigned business, with a preferred focus on Financial Crime, BSA/AML, Governance, Risk & Oversight Functions, ensuring controls and compliance.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), risk management and audit tools
What You’ll Actually Do
• Audit Execution: Conduct audit work based on established audit plans, executing in accordance with established standards to ensure completion.
• Control Testing: Execute testing of controls, including documentation walkthroughs, test script development, test script execution, and issue identification.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate communication with stakeholders throughout the audit process, helping ensure clear understanding.
• Review and Reporting: Support the team in reviewing internal controls and sharing findings and suggestions with both stakeholders and audit leadership.
• Finding Follow-up: Execute follow-up actions for findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits in accordance with firm policy.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Undergraduate degree required, with conceptual knowledge in audit or business. This is an experienced audit professional role focused on providing guidance and assistance.
• Experience: 3+ years of relevant work experience, including audit capacity or compliance testing/monitoring functions. Banking industry audit experience with a focus on Financial Crime, BSA/AML, Governance, Risk & Oversight Functions is preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact clearly and effectively, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• Bonus: Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CIA, CPA, CRMA) or progress towards these certifications.
