Operations Intern – Summer 2027 | Polaris

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at Polaris, located in various cities including Medina, Huntsville, Fernley, Wyoming, Wilmington, Battle Ground, Vermillion, and Roseau. Polaris is a global leader in powersports, pioneering product breakthroughs and enriching experiences with a diverse portfolio including boats, off-road vehicles, and motorcycles. This role matters because it provides emerging talent with impactful, project-based assignments that drive change and innovation, contributing directly to business objectives and the creation of incredible products and experiences.

• Pay: $21.50–$29.25 hourly (Minnesota and Washington)
• Team: Operations teams (e.g., Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, Logistics, Quality, Project Management)
• Mission: Contribute to impactful project-based assignments that align with Polaris’ business objectives within various operations functions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office software tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Execute impactful project-based assignments across various operations teams, encompassing both ongoing larger projects and shorter-scale tasks.
• Engage in weekly functional and centralized learning sessions to broaden knowledge within and beyond the program.
• Network with peers and leaders at Polaris through intentional time dedicated to building professional connections.
• Collaborate in the Intern Innovation Challenge, developing creative and practical solutions to real Polaris problems for executive leadership.
• Present final accomplishments and career aspirations to senior-level leaders to recap the internship experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level; currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field, with an intended graduation date between August 2027 and May 2029, and a minimum overall GPA of 3.0.
• Experience: Ability to commit to a full 12-week internship, working 40 hours per week, and a willingness to relocate for placement and provide daily transportation to the office.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Word); demonstrated strengths in analysis, creative problem-solving, communication, interpersonal relationships, self-motivation, and leadership.
• Bonus: Previous internship/co-op experience or involvement in relevant projects; study abroad or international internship experience; coursework or experience in business strategy, finance, or operations; exposure to data analytics tools or programming languages; participation in case competitions, business simulations, or entrepreneurial ventures.
