Senior Director, Process Operations – PMO | Arcteryx

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Arcteryx, located in North Vancouver, BC. Arcteryx is a company focused on creating apparel, footwear, and accessories. This role is critical for establishing and evolving project governance, portfolio management, and delivery excellence across the company’s entire Idea-to-Consumer ecosystem. The Senior Director will drive transparency, accountability, and predictable execution for seasonal product delivery, acting as a central authority for project standards.

• Pay: $181000–$237000 yearly
• Team: Process Operations team; reports to Senior Vice President, Process Operations
• Mission: Establish and evolve project governance, portfolio management, and delivery excellence across Arcteryx’s end-to-end Idea-to-Consumer ecosystem.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and scale Arc’teryx’s I2C/GTM PMO capability, including governance frameworks, intake models, and project delivery standards that drive predictable outcomes.
• Lead the intake, evaluation, and prioritization of I2C/GTM initiatives, ensuring investments align with business priorities and seasonal delivery objectives.
• Establish foundational PMO tools, playbooks, RACI models, and a consistent project intake and evaluation model for I2C/GTM business process-driven projects.
• Lead large-scale cross-functional programs and transformation initiatives across Product Creation and the broader I2C/GTM ecosystem, ensuring predictable, measurable value.
• Develop and scale a high-performing PMO team, establishing clear accountabilities, capability standards, and development pathways across the I2C/GTM portfolio.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Senior Director level, deep knowledge of the apparel, footwear, and accessories product creation lifecycle, with experience across Product Creation, Merchandising, Product Development, Sourcing, or related disciplines.
• Experience: Proven track record of designing and improving portfolio governance, PMO capabilities, operating models, and delivery practices that strengthen execution and business performance. Expertise in establishing PMO methodologies, governance, reporting, KPIs, and portfolio management practices.
• Skills: Business process design and operational excellence, building frameworks from the ground up, confident facilitation of senior leadership forums, leveraging portfolio insights and performance metrics, and experienced people leadership.
