As an Inventory Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity and compliance of all finished product inventory by accurately documenting and tracking items within state-mandated systems like METRC, as well as internal platforms. This position is essential for the seamless coordination of products through packaging, testing, and sales fulfillment, directly contributing to Wyld’s commitment to delivering quality products and expanding its market presence in a fast-growing environment. What You’ll Actually Do
• Inventory Tracking and Documentation: Accurately document and enter all finished product inventory from the production kitchen into state-mandated inventory tracking systems, such as METRC or the relevant state equivalent, alongside all internal tracking platforms. This includes ensuring all inventory is clearly labeled according to company standards and state regulations.
• Product Flow Coordination: Play a key role in coordinating inventory before and after crucial stages such as packaging, testing for quality assurance, and preparation for sales fulfillment. This involves logging all transfers of inventory items as they transform into finished, packaged, sellable units.
• Sales Transaction Facilitation: Facilitate and assist with all sale transactions, including fulfilling orders with precision and completeness. You will be responsible for completing all necessary manifest documentation and serving as a primary point-of-contact for company sales representatives, managing the intake and outtake of products efficiently.
• Inventory Auditing and Reporting: Conduct daily audits of physical inventory to ensure accuracy and reconcile against recorded data. You will be responsible for communicating any discrepancies in quantities or quality of product to supervisors promptly and effectively.
• Workspace and Product Integrity: Maintain a clean, organized inventory vault and ensure a safe working environment at all times. Additionally, you will report any product or production equipment that appears damaged, spoiled, broken, unusable, or unsatisfactory to supervisors to uphold product quality and operational standards.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early career professional with experience in inventory, analyst, or logistics roles.
• Experience: At least 1 year of direct experience and/or training in an inventory, analyst, or logistics environment, preferably within the food or beverage industry. Demonstrated ability to work with a high sense of urgency.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing. Must obtain all required state permits, licenses, and certifications.
• Bonus: Prior experience with METRC and possession of a ServSafe Food Handler’s Card are preferred.
