Logistics Analyst | Raytheon

This is an Onsite role at Raytheon, located in Tucson, AZ, focused on the critical function of shipping and traffic for both operations and engineering materials. What You’ll Actually Do
• Schedule Adherence: Meet on-time deliverables, including program costs and scheduling requirements for material movement.
• Transportation Management: Organize all transportation activities, including comprehensive information management from point of origin to delivery, orchestrating movements, and arranging necessary services.
• Regulatory Compliance: Coordinate and certify shipments meticulously in accordance with various regulations such as 49 CFR, IATA, NISPOM, 32 CFR, AFMAN, and the Defense Transportation Regulations.
• Documentation Preparation: Prepare all required domestic and international shipping labels, Hazardous declarations, Bills of Lading, and airway bills for outbound movement of materials.
• Logistics Tracking & Records: Coordinate and diligently track the movement of goods through their logistic pathways, maintain traffic accountability records, and oversee classified shipments.
The Must-Haves
• Background: University Degree or equivalent experience with less than 2 years of relevant prior experience in logistics; U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Experience: Experience with shipping and packing hazardous materials for domestic and international movement; active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance (Secret – Current) required prior to start date.
• Skills: Ability to prioritize daily workloads and maintain quality throughout the shipment process; effective communication directly with internal and external customers.
• Bonus: 2 years of experience in a logistics, supply chain, or related field; strong analytical skills and an aptitude for data analysis; strong interpersonal skills; demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment; experience with shipping government assets via TEAMS or ETOOLS.
