Timekeeper | EPI Power

The Tone:
This is a full-time Timekeeper role at EPI Power, located in Council Hill, OK. EPI Power, a licensed electrical contractor and subsidiary of The Weitz Company, specializes in safely delivering industry-leading electrical construction solutions on a fast-track basis, particularly for data centers. This role is crucial for ensuring accurate pay and attendance tracking of hourly employees on a significant data center project, maintaining open communication between office and field personnel. The project is expected to last a minimum of 2 years, with potential for extension or reassignment upon completion.

The TL;DR

• Type: Full-time (58 hours per week, Monday – Saturday)
• Location: In-person, Council Hill, OK (Local candidates only; relocation is not provided)
• Team: Operates with open communication between office and field personnel, reporting to site supervision.
• Mission: To meticulously manage time and track attendance for hourly employees, ensuring accurate pay and transparent reporting.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook

What You’ll Actually Do
• Timekeeping: Review and accurately record hourly employee hours to ensure timely and correct pay.
• Attendance Management: Review and document approved time off requests and call-in notifications from all site employees.
• Reporting & Analysis: Provide attendance reports and review/report site manpower counts to site supervision.
• Supervision Alerting: Alert supervision when hourly employee attendance needs to be reviewed or addressed.
• Documentation: Maintain crew assignments for field employees and prepare Fatigue Management reports and the daily force report.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level career level, with a general understanding of office basics and administrative processes.
• Experience: Demonstrated ability to manage timekeeping and attendance tracking, ensuring accuracy and clear communication.
• Skills: Demonstrates a high level of accuracy and attention to detail; exhibits excellent written and verbal communication skills; flexible and able to shift priorities based on business needs; organized; proficient in computer software including Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook; capable of learning specific job-related software upon hire.
• Bonus: Previous administrative experience is strongly preferred; experience with basic accounting and invoicing is desired.
