Distribution Center – Operational Excellence Analyst | CVS Health

What You’ll Actually Do
• Safety & Risk: Supports the identification of operational bottlenecks, capacity constraints, and safety risks within the distribution center environment to ensure a secure and efficient workplace.
• Data Analysis: Performs comprehensive data analysis and root cause problem solving to uncover and support significant improvement opportunities across various processes.
• Process Improvement: Applies Lean and Continuous Improvement tools, including time studies, labor standards support, slotting analysis, layout reviews, and 5S, to systematically enhance workflows and operational efficiency.
• Project Support: Contributes to multiple improvement projects by effectively managing assigned tasks, adhering to established timelines, and ensuring the timely delivery of project components.
• Reporting & Insights: Develops essential operational reports and dashboards using tools like Power BI and Excel, providing crucial data-driven insights for decision-making under guidance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum qualification: Bachelor Degree. Career level: Entry-Level. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for engineering, supply chain management, or a related technical field.
• Experience: 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or operational environment.
• Skills: Working knowledge of Lean principles, 5S, and basic problem-solving tools is essential. Proficiency in data analysis, particularly with Excel, is also required.
• Bonus: A Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification, or willingness to obtain one, is preferred. Exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar platforms is a plus.
