Senior Manager, Sales | Arrow Components
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Arrow Components, located in Seoul, South Korea. Arrow guides innovation forward for over 220,000 leading technology manufacturers and service providers, developing technology solutions that improve business and daily life. This role is crucial for driving sales strategy, managing a professional sales team, and fostering key relationships to achieve significant branch and company goals. The Senior Manager plays a central leadership role in the branch, influencing strategic direction and operational excellence.

• Mission: This person is accountable for the performance and results of multiple related units by driving strategy, managing a sales team, and fostering key relationships to achieve sales goals.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Drive Strategy: Make recommendations to the General Manager or Sales Director on strategy and customer plans, making solid decisions on direction through data analysis and experience. Direct value-added sales opportunities by implementing supply chain, engineering, supplier, or service excellence strategies, and identify and help achieve sales branch goals.
• Manage Team Performance: Recruit, hire, and mentor sales staff, managing employee performance and ensuring the team is trained and has resources to deliver sales plans. Coach and provide feedback to employees, deliver high potential sales representatives for future management roles, and prepare development plans for employees, making difficult decisions when necessary.
• Develop Relationships: Enhance manager relationships with key customer, supplier, and vendor contacts by providing superior service and operational excellence. Implement effective techniques for solving problems, communicate effectively with all levels, and increase management presence at customer accounts to achieve access to decision makers.
• Provide Leadership: Act as a leader in the branch, instilling vision and creating enthusiasm to achieve goals. Use data and analysis to make recommendations to the team and to management, and be responsible for budgeting and planning.
• Facilitate Process Improvement: Be a key leader in facilitating the implementation of process improvement based on data.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager, leading managers, supervisors, and professional staff within a sales context, developing departmental plans and controlling resources.
• Experience: A minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4-year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent related experience.
• Skills: Strategic decision-making based on data analysis, team recruitment and performance management, employee development, relationship building with customers, suppliers, and vendors, effective communication, budgeting, planning, and process improvement facilitation.
