• Mission: This role solves the problem of ensuring accurate financial reporting and efficient budget management for marketing investments, partnering across functions to maintain strong financial controls and operational excellence.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Ariba, Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
What You’ll Actually Do
• Budget Management: Support DME budget management activities, including accrual accuracy, purchase requisition and purchase order management, and invoice oversight.
• Financial Planning: Partner with budget owners to develop and maintain accurate annual spending plans and monthly forecasts, identifying risks as they arise.
• Compliance & Controls: Ensure strict compliance with procurement, accounting, and financial control policies, while also supporting contract and statement of work reviews.
• Invoice Processing: Manage comprehensive invoice workflows and facilitate the timely resolution of invoice approvals and system inquiries, ensuring smooth operations.
• Financial Reporting Support: Actively support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities to ensure accurate financial reporting and diligent budget management.
• Process Improvement: Maintain essential process documentation, training materials, stakeholder resources, and operational reporting to drive efficiency.
The Must-Haves
• Background: This is an early career role requiring a Bachelor’s degree. Candidates should have a foundational understanding of business operations related to finance, accounting, or marketing.
• Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience is required in areas such as marketing operations, finance, accounting, procurement, budget management, project coordination, or a closely related business function.
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively, solid financial acumen, strong collaboration and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Bonus: Experience utilizing SAP, Ariba, or similar enterprise business systems is preferred for this role.
