Administrative Internship | Legends Global

The Tone:
This is a part-time internship at Pensacola Bay Center, located in Pensacola, FL. Legends Global is a premier partner to the world’s greatest live events, venues, and brands, delivering a fully integrated solution of premium services across a network of 450 venues worldwide. This role offers students the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in live entertainment, sports, and venue management. The internship provides a unique behind-the-scenes look at arena operations while developing professional skills in event management, food service, guest experience, and other vital areas within the hospitality industry.

The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Hourly – Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
• Location: In-person, Pensacola, FL

• Team: Reports to Event Services Director.
• Mission: To provide hands-on support across various departments at the Pensacola Bay Center, fostering professional skill development in venue operations, event execution, and guest experience.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva, Adobe

What You’ll Actually Do
• Marketing Support: Assist with content creation for social media platforms, create and support digital marketing campaigns, and conduct market research studies.
• Event Coordination: Support event planning processes, assist with event execution, and coordinate with clients and sponsors to manage their needs.
• Food & Beverage Operations: Assist with staff scheduling across catering, concessions, nonprofit groups, and bartenders, and support ordering and warehouse operations for various beverages and dry goods.
• Ticketing & Customer Service: Aid in daily box office operations, including ticketing and customer service, and resolve ticketing issues, customer inquiries, and box office reporting.
• Venue Operations Support: Support event setup through diagrams, equipment orders, and additional information, and assist in monitoring venue readiness, cleanliness, and safety.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a college or university, pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, hospitality, marketing, or a related field.
• Experience: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Canva, and Adobe.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to work in a team-oriented environment, and maintain a professional presentation, appearance, and work ethic.
• Bonus: Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as required for events.
