The Tone:
This is a Working Student/Intern role at Dataleap (YC S24). Dataleap is an organization building the core technology to automate team and company-wide workflows, moving beyond single-person chatbots to complex organizational processes. Thousands of the company’s agents are actively used in production by large enterprise companies daily. This role is crucial because integrations serve as the agents’ interface with the world, directly impacting their ability to execute tasks and transform how work is done within businesses.

The TL;DR
• Role: Working Student/Intern
• Mission: Build and maintain integrations that empower AI agents to operate effectively within team and organizational workflows.
• Tech Stack: Golang, Postgres, Typescript (vite, no NextJS)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build: Develop and implement new integrations that serve as the “hands and eyes” for AI agents.
• Maintain: Ensure existing integrations function reliably and evolve with agent capabilities.
• Craft: Meticulously design integration specifics, including tool descriptions, system hints, and additional context, to maximize agent performance.
• Optimize: Analyze daily agent performance based on the integrations built, identifying areas for improvement.
• Improve: Refine and upgrade integrations to enhance agent functionality and achieve superhuman capabilities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: An individual motivated by intense problem-solving and a desire to figure out complex challenges in uncharted territory.
• Experience: Practical experience or a strong inclination to work with backend and frontend technologies. The ability to work on tangible projects and see immediate results from development efforts.
• Skills:
• Familiarity with Golang for backend development.
• Understanding of Postgres for database management.
• Proficiency in Typescript for frontend implementation.
• Keen attention to detail in technical descriptions and contextual hints.
• A high level of curiosity and a playful approach to solving novel problems.
