What You’ll Actually Do
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform daily reconciliations of bank accounts to maintain accurate financial records.
• Month-End Close: Support month-end closing activities and assist in preparing financial statements.
• Accounts Payable: Provide assistance with accounts payable processes, including weekly check runs.
• Credit Card Reporting: Prepare monthly credit card reports, code transactions, and reconcile them to the general ledger.
• Tax Compliance: Prepare and file sales tax returns in compliance with applicable regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance for an entry-level position.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with general ledger processes, journal entries, and corporate tax principles.
• Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills, excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Willingness to learn and adapt in an accounting environment.
