What You’ll Actually Do
• General Ledger Management: Record routine journal entries and ensure the general ledger remains accurate and current.
• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts by researching and resolving discrepancies and variances.
• Month-End Support: Support month-end accounting activities by organizing financial data and assisting with closing tasks.
• Transaction Processing: Process incoming and outgoing accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions with close attention to accuracy.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare supporting schedules and assist in the development of internal financial reports.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field. This role is suited for someone at the entry level or in the early stages of their career.
• Experience: Up to 2 years of accounting experience, which may include internships or entry-level work. Candidates should possess working knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, and account reconciliations.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong attention to detail for consistently producing accurate work, and effective organizational and communication skills for team collaboration.
• Bonus: Demonstrated interest in learning, developing accounting expertise, and growing in a corporate accounting role.
