• Mission: Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages, ensuring conformance to FedEx features of service.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Deliver Packages: Operate company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery of packages.
• Pick Up Packages: Conduct efficient and courteous pick-up of packages from various locations.
• Service Conformance: Check all shipments to ensure they meet FedEx features of service standards.
• Customer Interaction: Provide essential customer service functions as required to clients.
• Vehicle Operation: Operate assigned company vehicles safely and adhere to all federal motor carrier safety regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. High school diploma/GED is required.
• Experience: No prior experience is required. Must be at least 21 years of age and hold a license for the type of vehicle assigned, meeting qualifications outlined in section 391 of federal motor carrier safety regulations.
• Skills: Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance. Good human relations and verbal communications skills, including effective verbal communication in time-sensitive, noisy operations environments. Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs, communicate with traffic safety officials, and respond to official inquiries and directions.
• Bonus: A clean driving record is preferred.
