• Mission: Manages the royalty cycle, ensuring accurate calculation, reporting, and payment to publishers.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access databases
What You’ll Actually Do
• Calculate: Review order details and calculate royalties due for assigned business lines.
• Manage: Oversee monthly and quarterly reporting and payment processes.
• Reconcile: Reconcile monthly and quarterly reports with publishers upon request.
• Collaborate: Work with internal departments to analyze and resolve data and royalty errors.
• Support: Assist with establishing and updating publisher payment accounts and improving royalty processing technology and internal workflows.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in business studies/accounting.
• Experience: 2+ years of progressive experience in an accounting or finance-based role.
• Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Microsoft Access databases.
• Bonus: Highly organized, excellent time management skills, strong attention to detail, positive attitude, customer-focused, and strong communication skills.
