The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Camping World. Camping World provides products and services for the RV and camping lifestyle, supporting customers in their outdoor adventures. This Service Advisor position is crucial for initiating and processing repair services, keeping customers informed, and ensuring the smooth operation of the Service Department.

• Mission: Owns the initiation and processing of repair service requests and maintains customer communication regarding work progress.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Service Management: Initiate and process customer requests for repair services, ensuring efficient intake and documentation.
• Service Communication: Keep customers consistently informed of their vehicle’s work progress, providing timely updates and managing expectations.
• Administrative Department Support: Provide essential administrative support to the Service Department, facilitating daily operations.
• Product Needs & Sales: Work directly with customers to determine specialized product needs and suggest add-on sales to enhance service offerings and transactions.
• Quoting & Scheduling: Provide clear price estimates for designated installations prior to scheduling appointments.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should have previous experience or familiarity with RV products or the camping lifestyle.
• Experience: At least one year of service experience is preferred, demonstrating a foundational understanding of customer service in a repair environment.
• Skills: Required skills include the ability to work daily on a computer and perform internet searches as needed, along with excellent organization and strong follow-up capabilities. The ability to meticulously follow department procedures and policies is also essential.
• Bonus: A valid driver’s license is preferred for this role.
