Associate Pursuit Manager | Consertus
The Tone:
This is a full-time, remote role at Consertus, a global capital program management and advisory firm with over 1,000 professionals worldwide. Consertus combines deep human expertise with advanced digital tools to deliver smarter, faster, and more sustainable outcomes for large-scale capital programs. As an Associate Pursuit Manager, you will be a key contributor to the pursuit process, managing moderate-complexity competitive responses and developing substantive content. This role is vital for expanding pursuit capacity and supporting strategic opportunities, helping Consertus achieve its mission of transforming how the world is built.

• Mission: Manages moderate-complexity competitive responses and supports senior staff on strategic opportunities to ensure successful pursuit execution.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Independently manage assigned pursuits of moderate complexity from kickoff through final submission.
• Develop: Create and write substantive proposal content, including qualifications, project narratives, executive summary inputs, and professional resumes.
• Coordinate: Establish and rigorously manage pursuit schedules, ensuring timely coordination of internal contributors and external subconsultants.
• Maintain: Ensure accuracy and completeness of Salesforce opportunity records, including revenue values, stage progression, and outcome documentation for assigned pursuits.
• Support: Develop comprehensive content and materials for client presentations and interviews, assisting with preparation activities like coaching sessions and mock interviews.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree preferred in English, Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: 3-5 years of proposal management or business development experience within the AEC industry, professional services, or capital program environments, with demonstrated experience leading or contributing to RFQ/RFP responses.
• Skills: Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to adapt messaging to client expectations, experience maintaining opportunity data in Salesforce or similar CRM systems, and familiarity with Flowcase or comparable capabilities management platforms.
• Bonus: APMP certification preferred.
