Sr. SDET | CrowdStrike
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at CrowdStrike, located in NYC (Hybrid). CrowdStrike is a global leader in cybersecurity, dedicated to stopping breaches and protecting modern organizations with an AI-native platform that processes trillions of events daily. This Sr. SDET role is crucial for optimizing the development and testing lifecycle, as you will be responsible for building automation and tools to ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of the Charlotte AI product, a generative AI security analyst integrated into large-scale distributed systems.

• Mission: This person will write code daily to develop automation and build tools that accurately ensure the quality, reliability, and accuracy of the Charlotte AI product.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Design and implement automated backend testing solutions for the Charlotte AI system using a broad tech stack.
• Validate and verify the integration of other teams and services with Charlotte AI.
• Build complete and meaningful test plans for features, ensuring coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute automated tests to identify defects, track issues, and ensure the overall quality of the software.
• Collaborate with the development and product teams to clarify project scope and delivery timelines.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Senior-level experience in Quality Assurance and test automation development / as an SDET.
• Experience: 5+ years in Quality Assurance and test automation development / as an SDET. Hands-on experience with automated testing frameworks, continuous integration and delivery tools, and AWS services.
• Skills: Go, Python, Java or any other modern languages; good understanding of computer science fundamentals including algorithms, data structures, OS-es, networking, and distributed systems; familiarity with Agile development methodologies; strong communication and collaboration; ability to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Proven expertise in the validation and verification of AI systems, and proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency, and drive business outcomes.
