The Tone:
This is a summer internship at Love’s Travel Stops, located in Jackson, TN, for Summer 2027. Love’s builds and operates high-volume travel centers that demand efficient operations, including food service and truck care facilities. What You’ll Actually Do
• Operational Training: Engage in comprehensive, hands-on training covering all aspects of store, fuel, food service, and truck care operations within a high-volume travel center environment.
• Business Acumen Development: Cultivate essential business acumen by actively learning strategies to drive sales, manage operational costs effectively, and contribute to overall profitability.
• Team Management: Acquire practical skills in team leadership, including staffing best practices, employee development initiatives, and fostering a productive work environment.
• Customer Engagement: Deliver exceptional customer service experiences to professional drivers and travelers, skillfully resolving issues and ensuring their needs are met quickly and efficiently.
• Operational Support: Support critical daily tasks such as merchandising, accurate inventory management, and upholding the highest operational standards and company policies for safety and compliance.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
• Skills: Confident communication with customers and team members; demonstrated potential for leadership; eagerness to learn through direct application; adaptability within a customer-focused setting that demands quick problem-solving; proficiency in navigating and utilizing various computer programs, systems, and technology tools for daily operational tasks.
