The Tone:
This is a full-time early career development program at Rexel USA, located in San Diego, CA. Rexel USA is one of the largest distributors of electrical products, data communication, wireless communication, and related supplies in the United States, operating through over 460 warehouse storefront locations. This program offers a fast-tracked opportunity for associates to gain broad exposure within the electrical distribution industry, developing commercial, operational, and leadership skills to make an impact and explore various career paths within the organization.

The TL;DR
• Role: Early Career Development Program (ACE Trainee)
• Type: Full-time
• Location: In-person San Diego, CA
• Pay: $28–$30 hourly
• Team: Part of a cohort experiencing various functions
• Mission: To accelerate early career development through hands-on rotational exposure to Rexel’s people, products, customers, and operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Warehouse & Logistics: Learn full-cycle supply chain processes behind storing and moving materials, including order fulfillment, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping.
• Sales: Gain experience in counter, inside, and outside sales, building customer service, product knowledge, selling, and digital tool skills.
• Operations: Understand business drivers influencing safety, profitability, facility maintenance, inventory, working capital, and customer service to support sound business decisions.
• Project Management: Manage customer, sales, and vendor relationships, coordinating orders, shipments, billing, and communication while preparing project quotations.
• Elective Rotations: Tailor your experience through specialized product areas like Automation, Lighting, or Datacom, or create a customized rotation with local leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Required: High School or GED. Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• Experience: For external candidates with a bachelor’s degree, 0-1 years in a service, business, or sales-oriented role is required, along with a minimum 3.0 GPA upon graduation. For internal candidates, less than 12 months of experience with Rexel and good performance standing are needed.
• Skills: Ability to solve problems, build relationships, and work productively as part of a team. Demonstrates professionalism, leadership skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Relevant internship/co-op experience; equivalent military or industry-related experience; openness to relocation to expand opportunities.
