• Mission: Drive the regional portfolio of vendor change requests from intake through delivery, ensuring alignment with business value, product roadmaps, and operational resilience.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead Vendor Change Initiatives: Drive the regional portfolio of vendor change requests from initial intake through final delivery across the Asia Pacific region.
• Partner on Cross-Functional Solutions: Collaborate with diverse teams including Product, Operations, Client Services, Business Management, Technology, Legal, Compliance, Risk, and Controls to consider, solution, prioritize, implement, and deliver internal requests related to external vendor changes.
• Standardize Change Governance: Apply the existing governance framework to harmonize the APAC regional approach for how vendor change is assessed, governed, and executed.
• Manage Issues and Blockers: Implement effective issue management practices to ensure the timely resolution of key roadblocks, escalating appropriately when required to maintain project momentum.
• Enhance Operational Resilience: Support the re-engineering and enhancement of existing operational and service models to improve scalability, strengthen operational controls, and mitigate business risks.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field, with at least 5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
• Experience: Demonstrated experience delivering change management and/or business change outcomes, including partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to prioritize and deliver work.
• Skills: Strong project management skills (planning, organization, execution), robust written and verbal communication (including executive-level status reporting), effective issue resolution with structured escalation, intermediate understanding of investment vehicles (mutual funds, ETFs, pension funds), strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and quality controls.
• Bonus: Prior experience in Project Management Office, Client Service, Operations, or Business Management, and knowledge of complex instruments including derivatives and alternatives.
