What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Coordination: Assist comprehensively with the U.S. Venture Open’s event preparation, working diligently throughout the summer and potentially during breaks to ensure all aspects are ready for a successful outing.
• Procurement: Manage the ordering process for all necessary supplies, ensuring timely delivery and availability for the event’s various needs and locations.
• Vendor Management: Work collaboratively with external vendors to order and secure essential services, maintaining clear communication to meet event requirements.
• Logistics: Systematically prepare and meticulously organize event documentation, materials, and supplies, ensuring everything is readily accessible and properly distributed across all designated event locations.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field such as marketing, human resources, communications, general business, or management. This is an Entry-Level opportunity.
• Experience: Candidates should possess the ability to manage tasks effectively and coordinate resources for events.
• Skills: Demonstrated strong organizational skills for managing multiple event components; Excellent communication skills, adaptable for email, phone, and in-person interactions; Proven ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and work effectively under multiple deadlines; Proficiency in using Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for various event-related documentation and presentations.
• Bonus: Junior or Senior academic status in their bachelor’s degree program is preferred for this role.
