General Manager | Allied Universal

What You’ll Actually Do
• Leadership: Lead and mentor an operations and support team by providing coaching, support, and recognition, while fostering accountability and an inclusive work environment.
• Client Relations: Build, maintain, and grow relationships with clients by understanding their security needs, ensuring satisfaction, and providing solutions to critical situations through travel and engagement.
• Financial Management: Manage the P&L and drive financial performance through budget allocation, revenue growth, profitability, cash collections, and expense management to achieve financial targets.
• Operational Oversight: Deliver high-quality service to clients by strategically leading branch operations, maintaining industry standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Risk Mitigation: Identify and mitigate security risks by developing and implementing security protocols, training, and response plans.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Requires a Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, business, or a related field for this management position. Alternatively, an Associate’s degree or a High School diploma is acceptable with a progressively higher number of years of management experience.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a high-volume workforce environment or service industry (with a Bachelor’s degree); minimum of two (2) years of experience driving operational and financial metrics; and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in successfully building and developing teams. A current driver’s license is required.
• Skills: Leadership skills that foster teamwork, agility, client relations, and achieving desired results; ability to collaborate across multiple business units and regions; results-oriented problem-solving skills; proficiency in web-based applications, computer systems, Microsoft Office, and BI tools for analysis; and effective networking skills through community and industry participation.
• Bonus: Experience in law enforcement, military, and/or contract or proprietary security services, or experience managing a dispersed workforce in a multi-location operation.
