Operations Intern | Ikigai Cases

The Tone:
This is an internship at Ikigai Cases, located in Washington, DC and requiring in-person work at our warehouse in Alexandria, VA. Ikigai Cases is a family-owned e-commerce business selling premium metal pill cases, founded by two brothers in December 2021. This role is critical for ensuring customers receive orders quickly and with the highest level of care. You will be hands-on with core operational processes within a fast-growing startup, directly supporting the company’s commitment to exceptional products and outstanding customer service.

The TL;DR

• Mission: Ensure efficient order fulfillment and inventory management to support exceptional customer service and business operations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Order Fulfillment: Pack and prepare customer orders for shipment with a high level of care.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage inventory and supply levels to maintain operational efficiency.
• Operational Support: Support the founders with general operational tasks as needed.
• Business Operations: Step in wherever necessary to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, with college students and recent graduates encouraged to apply.
• Experience: Able to commit to at least 10 hours per week when available, and at least 50 hours total for 3 months.
• Skills: High-energy individual; Quick learner; Low ego with a willingness to do whatever is needed to get the job done.
