The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Perrysburg, OH

• Team: Reports directly to Financial Analyst.
• Mission: This role primarily focuses on accounts receivable collections, with additional exposure to other accounting functions.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Power BI (plus)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Accounts Receivable Support: Process customer payments and research account balances to support accounts receivable collections, including pulling documentation for deductions and assisting with POD credits.
• Reporting Assistance: Assist with preparing ad hoc and other internal reports.
• Month-End Close Contribution: Support month-end close activities by preparing journal entries and completing financial reports.
• Financial Support Preparation: Prepare rebate files and documentation for customer promotions.
• Task Completion: Ensure all assigned tasks are completed according to established deadlines.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an Accounting Degree or a related field; this is an Entry-Level role.
• Experience: Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Skills: Strong mathematical, analytical, and proven problem-solving abilities; excellent written, oral communication, and presentation skills; robust organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple activities and priorities; strong customer (internal and external) service orientation.
• Bonus: An academic emphasis on Information Systems and/or Power BI experience.
