The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Location: In-person, Chandler, AZ
• Mission: Provide hands-on finance and cost accounting experience by maintaining and evaluating the standard costs of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods inventories.
• Tech Stack: M2K – Epicor Manage 2000, Costpoint

What You’ll Actually Do
• Cost Management: Assist in maintaining and rolling up standard costs within integrated ERP systems.
• Cost Verification: Review Bills of Material (BOMs) and labor routing costs to ensure accuracy.
• Inventory Analysis: Analyze purchase price variances, overissues, and shortages.
• Rate Development: Support the creation and documentation of standard labor and overhead rates.
• Inventory Control: Plan and supervise physical inventory and weekly cycle counts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level role. Currently enrolled in a Finance or Accounting degree program.
• Experience: No specific prior work experience required, as this program provides real-world experience.
• Skills: Analytical thinking, understanding of cost accounting principles, inventory management, variance analysis, and data evaluation.
