Early Career Intern – Investor Engagement | Invesco

The Tone:
This is a full-time, in-person internship at Invesco, a leading global investment firm dedicated to rethinking possibilities for its clients. As an Early Career Intern, you will immerse yourself in the world of investments through a structured 9-week program. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience, learn from industry professionals, and potentially secure a full-time offer upon graduation.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate with various teams on assigned tasks and initiatives to support project execution.
• Attend team meetings, complete assigned projects within established timelines, and present findings to management.
• Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
• Seek feedback and guidance from mentors and team members to support personal learning and growth.
• Champion AI‑enabled ways of working and use AI technologies in daily work to streamline manual processes and enhance analysis.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, identifying as a rising Junior, and expected to graduate by the summer of 2028. All majors are welcomed, with an emphasis on Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics, or Business-related fields, alongside a demonstrated interest in investments.
• Experience: A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale is required.
• Skills: Creative problem solving, analytical thinking, prioritizing work, and meeting deadlines.
• Bonus: Prior internship experience in AI or investment management, experience gathering and interpreting market data, experience using Generative AI tools such as Microsoft Studio and CoWork, or intermediate proficiency with Python, SQL, Power BI, Bloomberg Terminal, R Studio, or Excel.
