Sales and Operations Management Trainee | Penske Truck Leasing

What You’ll Actually Do
• Develop solutions: Create tailored consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including many Fortune 500 companies.
• Manage inventory: Oversee a large inventory of nationally recognized vehicles, balancing fleet productivity, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
• Drive growth: Generate new business leads and cultivate relationships with existing customer accounts.
• Ensure satisfaction: Provide exceptional service to ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
• Operate vehicles: Drive Penske and customer vehicles, including a 26-foot box truck, as required for operational duties.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree required in any field. This is an early career management trainee position.
• Experience: No specific prior years of experience are required.
• Skills:
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Results-oriented approach with strong attention to detail and good time management.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to drive Penske vehicles, including a 26’ box truck.
• Willingness to work holidays and a weekend day, and maintain regular, predictable, full attendance.
• Ability to accept responsibility for personal and others’ safety, and to work in a constant state of alertness.
• Bonus:
• Internship or related work experience in a customer-facing role.
• A Bachelor’s degree with a preferred concentration in Business or Marketing.
