Business Operations Specialist | TSMC
The Tone:
This is a full-time role at TSMC, located in San Jose, CA. TSMC is a pioneering leader in the semiconductor foundry industry, dedicated to developing technologies that shape the future and change the world. This position is crucial for solving daily business operational challenges by collaborating with customers, North America Sales, and TSMC Headquarters in Taiwan.

• Team: Business Operations Support team, reporting to the Section Manager
• Mission: Solve daily business operational challenges by coordinating operations between customers, North America Sales, and TSMC Headquarters.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint
What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Customer order and delivery schedules for efficient execution.
• Execute: Shipments in full compliance with global export regulations.
• Coordinate: Daily business operations, including product loading priority, business transactions, and sales data analysis.
• Maintain: Client relationships by responding to inquiries regarding delivery status, shipments, and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).
• Partner: With Account Managers to establish new accounts, deliver correct pricing, and investigate pricing discrepancies for foundry business.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in business or a related field.
• Experience: 1-3 years of related experience, preferably gained within the semiconductor industry or supply chain.
• Skills: Strong data analysis skills, keen attention to detail, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Bonus: Detail-oriented, highly organized, strong analytical ability to drive results, problem-solving skills, and eagerness to learn and work independently. Mandarin-speaking/writing is preferred, and experience in manufacturing and supply chain management is a plus.
