Project Management Internship | IA Interior Architects

This is an internship at IA Interior Architects, located in San Francisco. This internship offers hands-on experience in project management, allowing the intern to develop crucial organizational, communication, coordination, and proposal development skills through active participation in live projects.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $21–$23 hourly
• Mission: This person supports project managers to keep projects organized and on track within a multidisciplinary design firm.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Coordinate Projects: Support Project Managers by handling day-to-day project coordination and administrative tasks.
• Draft Proposals: Assist in preparing initial proposal drafts by gathering project information, compiling scope, and formatting documents.
• Track Project Metrics: Help monitor project schedules, action items, budgets, and deliverables to keep projects on target.
• Document Meetings: Attend internal project meetings to take detailed notes and follow up on assigned action items.
• Organize Project Assets: Maintain project documentation, files, and project management tools for easy access and reference.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level intern with an interest in project management within a multidisciplinary design firm.
• Experience: Intermediate proficiency in Adobe Suite and intermediate hand-sketching and rendering skills.
• Skills: Organizational skills, communication skills, coordination skills, and proposal development skills.
• Bonus: Experience with Enscape, Autodesk Bim360, and Bluebeam Studio construction management software.
