Manager, Solutions Architect, East SEA | MasterCard

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at MasterCard, located in the East SEA Region (Indonesia, Philippines, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos). This role is crucial for developing scalable, differentiated solutions that address customer needs, helping to build a sustainable economy where everyone can prosper and accelerating MasterCard’s growth in key East SEA markets.

• Team: Customer Solutions Center (CSC), advising account management, product, and regional teams
• Mission: This role drives the development of innovative, scalable solutions for diverse customers, accelerating Mastercard’s growth across East SEA markets.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Solutions: Partner with teams to identify customer pain points and design integrated solutions that leverage Mastercard products and services.
• Program Leadership: Lead and coordinate strategic projects from ideation through execution, ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders and functions.
• Market Strategy: Develop and execute market strategies to drive consumer card activation, engagement, and spend growth.
• Acceptance Initiatives: Support go-to-market planning and stakeholder engagement for strategic acceptance and network modernization programs.
• Cross-Border Growth: Coordinate cross-border growth initiatives, track performance, and develop insights to identify revenue opportunities.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, with a focus on payments, banking, or financial services.
• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in solutioning, product strategy, business development, consulting, program management, or client-facing roles.
• Skills: Strong understanding of card payments, digital payments, cross-border payments, or broader financial services ecosystems; project management and stakeholder management skills; excellent analytical, problem-solving, and structured thinking capabilities; strong communication and relationship management skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and a local East SEA language.
• Bonus: Knowledge of Mastercard products, services, and payment ecosystem dynamics; experience working across East SEA markets.
