Human Resources Intern | Newegg
The Tone:
This is a 3-month internship at Newegg, located in Diamond Bar, CA. In this role, you will be the primary driver behind an upcoming Employee Engagement Project. You will take ownership of planning, coordinating, and executing events designed to foster a positive, inclusive, and motivated workplace culture. This position is crucial for directly impacting team morale and gaining practical experience in modern human resources practices.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Event Leadership: Spearhead the end-to-end planning, logistics, and execution of internal employee engagement events, including team building activities, wellness workshops, recognition ceremonies, and social gatherings.
• Project Management: Drive the 3-month Employee Engagement Project by maintaining timelines, coordinating with vendors, and managing the allocated budget effectively.
• HR Operations: Assist the HR team with daily operations across the employee lifecycle, gaining hands-on experience in talent acquisition, onboarding processes, HRIS data management, and performance management tracking.
• Cultural Development: Develop initiatives that align with organizational behavior principles and current leadership theories to strengthen team cohesion and information flow across departments.
• Feedback & Analysis: Design and distribute post-event surveys to measure engagement levels, analyze the gathered data, and provide actionable recommendations for future HR initiatives.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level, currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree program in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
• Experience: Demonstrated passion for human resources, specifically in employee engagement, workplace culture, and modern HR theories.
• Skills: Exceptional organizational and project management abilities, strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.
• Bonus: Creative problem-solver with a detail-oriented mindset, and proven ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
