Management Trainee Program | CED

The Tone:
This is a full-time Management Trainee Program at CED, with opportunities available across California. CED is a privately held company boasting more than 700 locations. This competitive program is designed to develop sales-minded candidates into future leaders who will run their own multi-million-dollar locations. The role is crucial for growing the company’s management pipeline and ensuring continued success in an evolving industry.

The TL;DR

• Pay: $50000–$65000 annually
• Team: Reports to Training Manager, no supervisory responsibilities
• Mission: Learn every aspect of CED’s business to independently manage a multi-million-dollar location.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Operations: Gain hands-on experience in warehouse operations, inventory management, and counter sales.
• Financial Management: Develop financial acumen through rotations in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial statement analysis.
• Sales Development: Master inside sales, outside sales strategies, and project management techniques.
• Product & Industry Knowledge: Attend multiple specialized sessions focused on electrical products, sales best practices, and management principles.
• Continuous Learning: Engage in online training related to electrical systems, sales, and management to supplement practical experience.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s Degree (related experience considered in lieu of degree), Entry-Level career experience. Must be at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States without requiring work authorization sponsorship by CED now or in the future.
• Experience: Current, valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. No prior industry experience is necessary, as all required tools and knowledge will be provided through comprehensive training.
• Skills: Outstanding communication skills, strong problem-solving abilities, self-motivation, a competitive drive, effective interpersonal skills, and superior leadership potential.
• Bonus: Geographically flexible throughout the duration of the 2-3 year training program.
