• Mission: Owns supporting accurate financial reporting and ensuring compliance through meticulous accounting activities and support for key close processes.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Journal Entries: Prepare and record recurring and non‑recurring journal entries in accordance with established accounting policies and procedures.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform monthly account reconciliations and reviews to ensure accuracy, investigate any variances, and document supporting schedules.
• Fixed Asset Management: Maintain comprehensive fixed asset records, including capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and periodic reconciliation to the general ledger.
• Close Process Support: Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Audit Assistance: Assist with internal and external audit requests by preparing supporting documentation and clear explanations for assigned accounts.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Foundational understanding of general accounting principles, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Experience: Practical experience preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and managing fixed asset records.
• Skills: Meticulous attention to detail for financial accuracy, strong organizational skills for documentation, and the ability to investigate variances and ensure compliance.
• Bonus: Experience identifying process inefficiencies and contributing to documentation or system updates for continuous improvement.
