The General Manager is a critical leader who will build and develop an exceptional team, maximize the financial success of the Carlin branch, and ensure operational excellence as the company expands its vision for the future of construction.

• Pay: $85000–$130000 yearly
• Team: Manages a team at a rental facility, reporting to management.
• Mission: Lead the Carlin, NV rental facility to maximize financial success, build a high-performing team, and transform construction operations through technology.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Team Leadership: Build and develop a high-performing team by actively hiring, training, and providing guidance to employees, conducting performance reviews, and documenting improvement efforts.
• Financial Oversight: Maximize the branch’s financial success through diligent management of operations, including conducting monthly profit and loss reviews to identify business trends, areas for improvement, and future revenue opportunities.
• Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor key operational metrics such as equipment utilization, underperforming assets, warranty recovery, billed mechanical hours, aged receivables, and overall customer satisfaction.
• Goal Setting: Establish clear, reasonable, and measurable goals with well-defined expectations for team members to ensure accountability and drive positive results.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees by establishing, consistently following, and rigorously enforcing company standards and procedures, while also ensuring full compliance with all relevant legal regulations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Managerial experience within the rental industry, specifically in an operational leadership capacity.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the rental industry is required, with a preference for candidates who have held a management role. Additionally, a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are essential for this position.
• Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities; excellent leadership and people management skills; and a results-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. The ability to adapt to a fast-paced, growing company environment and stay continuously educated on the latest EquipmentShare products and services is also vital.
