• Team: Reports directly to the Plant Manager, with executive visibility to the CEO and corporate leadership, managing 8 direct and ~16 indirect reports.
• Mission: Own material flow, scheduling, and fulfillment across a complex, multi-site manufacturing environment to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Lead: Lead all supply chain activities at a flagship U.S. manufacturing site, holding full responsibility for planning, scheduling, inventory, and materials flow to ensure consistent and efficient operations.
• Strategize: Own the strategy and execution across end-to-end supply chain operations, including managing backlog, optimizing scheduling, overseeing material flow, and implementing inventory optimization techniques.
• Collaborate: Work directly with supply chain leaders at other plants and corporate leadership across North America to ensure alignment on material flow, production schedules, and distribution, driving consistency and results.
• Manage: Build, coach, and scale a high-performance team, encompassing 8 direct and approximately 16 indirect reports across planning and materials, fostering development and execution.
• Improve: Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to customer fulfillment, inventory turns, budget adherence, and process performance, while actively troubleshooting shortages, streamlining material flow, and problem-solving cross-functionally.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field; requires a managerial career level with an operations mindset focused on driving KPIs from the plant floor.
• Experience: A minimum of 5+ years of experience in supply chain management, paired with 5+ years of experience in metals or industrial manufacturing, specifically with materials like aluminum, steel, or copper.
• Skills: Strong understanding of material flow, planning, inventory management, and scheduling; a proven leader capable of aligning, developing, and executing strategies within high-performance teams; experience with SAP or similar ERP systems is essential.
• Bonus: Multi-site supply chain management experience is preferred for this role.
