Full Charge Bookkeeper | Good Business Consulting, Inc.

This role is crucial for managing multiple client accounts, maintaining precise financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing essential client support. What You’ll Actually Do
• Manage: Oversee full bookkeeping functions and maintain accurate general ledgers for multiple client accounts.
• Reconcile: Perform comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual bank, credit card, and trust account reconciliations.
• Analyze: Prepare and review financial statements, including Profit & Loss Statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow Reports.
• Maintain: Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, ensuring data integrity by reviewing audit trails and identifying discrepancies.
• Support: Assist clients with accounting questions and provide professional financial guidance while mentoring junior bookkeeping staff.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Professional bookkeeper or accountant with a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and full-cycle bookkeeping.
• Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years of professional bookkeeping or accounting experience, including preparing financial statements, performing monthly reconciliations, and maintaining trust accounts.
• Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online, strong Microsoft Excel skills, excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Bonus: Previous supervisory or management experience, Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, experience working in an accounting firm, or payroll processing experience.
