Director In Training | Child Development Schools
The Tone:
This is a full-time Director-in-Training role with an initial one-week onsite boot camp in Clayton, NC, leading to an in-person School Director position at one of the company’s centers across 11 states. Child Development Schools operates over 260 centers under three trusted brands, providing safe, fun, and inspiring environments for children from six weeks to twelve years old. This role is crucial for developing future leaders who will manage these centers and continue to light up the lives of thousands of children.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Training Participation: Engage in a vibrant, hands-on 3-month training adventure, including an onsite boot camp, covering hiring, budgeting, marketing, and curriculum knowledge.
• Staff Leadership: Lead the recruitment, training, and support of staff members while ensuring all state compliance standards are met within the school environment.
• Operational Management: Supervise and inspire team members, manage staffing schedules, and efficiently handle substitute arrangements to maintain smooth daily operations.
• Community Engagement: Build warm and lasting connections with families and staff, fostering a welcoming and supportive community within the school.
• School Oversight: Ensure the school remains safe, sparkling clean, and prepared for daily activities, while also managing essential administrative tasks such as billing, payroll, and record-keeping.
