Repair Station General Manager | The Judge Group

This is a full-time role recruited by The Judge Group for a Part 145 repair center client, located in Fayetteville, GA. This organization operates a specialized component repair facility, playing a crucial role in the aviation industry by ensuring the airworthiness and reliability of critical aircraft components. The General Manager will be instrumental in overseeing all facets of the repair center’s operations, from strategic planning and regulatory compliance to direct customer engagement. This leadership position is vital for driving operational excellence, maintaining stringent quality standards, and ensuring the continued growth and profitability of the facility.

• Mission: This role is responsible for overseeing all business strategies and operations of a Part 145 component repair center, ensuring regulatory compliance, meeting strategic goals, and managing customer expectations.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Strategic Oversight: Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive business strategies for the Component Repair center, meticulously covering all aspects including operations, materials management, quality assurance, production planning, contract administration, and personnel development.
• Performance Achievement: Establish clear strategic goals and ambitious performance objectives, then actively lead the team to achieve and exceed these targets, ensuring sustained productivity and profitability for the repair facility.
• Regulatory Compliance and Liaison: Guarantee the service center’s absolute adherence to all applicable regulatory mandates, legal requirements, social responsibilities, safety protocols, and contractual obligations, while serving as the primary point of contact and representative for all FAA relations.
• Client Relationship Management and Growth: Oversee the meticulous fulfillment of all contractual obligations, consistently exceed customer expectations through high-quality service, and proactively identify and pursue opportunities to upsell and expand contract terms with clients.
• Operational Leadership and Communication: Effectively manage and optimize staffing levels across all departments to ensure efficient operations, and provide clear, concise, and timely status reports to customers regarding repair progress, service delivery, and any relevant operational updates.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Leadership experience as a General Manager within a 14 CFR Part 145 certified repair station environment. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of managing a full-scope component repair operation.
• Experience: A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically within a 14 CFR Part 145 certified aircraft component repair station, demonstrating a proven track record of operational oversight and strategic contribution.
• Skills: Exceptional command and strong working knowledge of both FAA and EASA regulations; a demonstrated ability to effectively lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team; and proven capability to build and maintain strong relationships by working directly with customers to meet their needs.
