Branch Manager | Uncommon Elite

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Uncommon Elite, located in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Uncommon Elite is a rapidly growing company providing fire protection services to commercial and industrial customers, focused on protecting people, property, and operations. This entrepreneurial leadership opportunity involves building a new fire protection branch from the ground up in Lake Havasu City, establishing operations, and owning its financial performance. The role is critical for the company’s expansion, allowing an individual to make a lasting impact by creating a successful business.

• Mission: Lead the launch and growth of a new fire protection branch in Lake Havasu City, owning its operational and financial success.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Build the Business: Launch and establish a new branch operation, including developing systems, processes, and scalable workflows to support long-term growth.
• Lead the Team: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop a high-performing team while establishing clear expectations and fostering a culture of ownership, safety, quality, and customer service.
• Grow Revenue: Develop new commercial relationships throughout the Lake Havasu region, building partnerships, driving new business, and expanding recurring inspection and service agreements.
• Own Operations: Lead all day-to-day branch operations, overseeing scheduling, customer communication, field execution, and service quality, ensuring work is completed safely and to industry standards.
• Own the Financial Performance: Take full ownership of the branch P&L, monitoring revenue, margins, labor efficiency, and operating expenses to make data-driven decisions that improve profitability.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Manager level, with core domain knowledge in business operations, team leadership, and financial management.
• Experience: Proven experience leading a branch, business unit, operations team, or territory; track record of hiring, developing, and retaining talent; experience developing customer relationships and growing revenue; financial acumen with responsibility for budgets or P&L performance; comfortable operating independently with minimal oversight.
• Skills: Strong leadership, commercial mindset, financial acumen, high ownership mentality, excellent decision-making skills, organized, disciplined, and execution-oriented.
• Bonus: Leadership experience in fire protection, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction, industrial services, or another skilled trades business; experience launching or growing a new location, branch, or business unit; experience managing recurring service operations; existing commercial relationships in Arizona are a plus.
