FRONT OF THE HOUSE TEAM MEMBER | Stonefire Grill

The Tone:
This is an early career, non-exempt hourly position at Stonefire Grill, a restaurant focused on providing exceptional dining experiences. This role is crucial for delivering memorable guest interactions and supporting the entire restaurant team in a collaborative environment. The Front of the House Team Member embodies the company’s values, leading through service and maintaining a commitment to excellence and integrity. The TL;DR

• Pay: $16.90 per hour plus tips
• Team: Works collaboratively with Managers, Heart of the House, and Front of the House Team Members, reporting to the General Manager or management team.
• Mission: To provide guests with an exceptional and memorable dining experience that exceeds expectations.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Guest Service Excellence: Delivers exceptional guest experiences by ensuring service standards are met and by engaging personally with guests at their tables.
• Team Collaboration: Supports and empowers the entire restaurant team, working as a partner with all members to achieve common operational goals.
• Order Management: Participates in taking and entering preorders into the POSI system, and assists with the packing of equipment and food items.
• Health & Safety Compliance: Adheres to all Health Department and sanitation standards, maintaining the restaurant in a clean, comfortable, and inviting state.
• Continuous Improvement: Attends all scheduled team meetings and contributes suggestions for improving service and operational procedures.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level position; must have or obtain California Food Handler and Responsible Beverage Service certifications before starting work and maintain them.
• Experience: At least 16 years of age; experience in a Fast Casual Restaurant is preferred but not required.
• Skills: Exceptional communication skills, including the ability to read and speak English; organized and detail-oriented; capable of reaching, bending, stooping, and frequently lifting up to 35 pounds; able to work standing for extended periods (up to 8 hours); able to work in a fast-paced setting; able to hear with 100% accuracy and see 20/20 with correction.
