In this vital role, the Business Office Manager plays a central part in overseeing the comprehensive day-to-day operations of the business office. This involves ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compliant functioning of our center’s administrative and financial processes. The Business Office Manager is critical for maintaining operational excellence, safeguarding financial integrity, and directly contributing to the overall positive experience for residents, their families, and our valued vendors through meticulous administrative and financial management.

• Mission: Own the efficient day-to-day operations of the business office to ensure the smooth running of the care center.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Records Management: Manage and meticulously maintain all accurate financial records for the center, encompassing the critical processes of accounts payable, accounts receivable, precise billing, and timely invoicing.
• Staff Development & Supervision: Supervise, coach, and provide ongoing training to administrative staff within the business office, fostering a culture of efficient operations and ensuring the consistent delivery of excellent service.
• Process Improvement & Implementation: Develop, evaluate, and implement effective business processes and administrative procedures that streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and ensure regulatory compliance across the department.
• Stakeholder Relations & Service: Serve as a primary point of contact, providing exceptional customer service and empathetic support to residents, their families, and a network of external vendors.
• Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Actively collaborate with all other departments within the center to foster strong interdepartmental relationships and ensure seamless, integrated operational outcomes for optimal resident care.
The Must-Haves
• Background: An experienced and skilled professional at a managerial level, holding comprehensive expertise in business office operations, including intricate administrative and financial management principles.
• Experience: Demonstrated, hands-on experience in effectively managing the full spectrum of administrative functions, such as overseeing billing cycles, invoicing procedures, accounts payable/receivable, and meticulous maintenance of financial records. This includes proven experience in supervising, mentoring, and training administrative staff to achieve high performance.
• Skills: Possesses excellent leadership capabilities, superior organizational and administrative skills, and a strong proficiency in developing, implementing, and optimizing effective business processes and procedures. An unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional customer service is essential.
