Hotel Night Auditor | GF Hotels & Resorts

This is an early career part-time position at GF Hotels & Resorts, located in-person at one of our properties. GF Hotels & Resorts is a growing group of hospitality professionals, and this role is crucial for maintaining our high standards of guest service and financial accuracy during the night hours. The Night Auditor plays a pivotal role in ensuring smooth overnight operations and delivering exceptional customer satisfaction, while also managing essential financial details for the property. What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Stewardship: Meticulously manage and audit all financial transactions, ensuring precise accounting and record-keeping for the property.
• Reporting Accuracy: Diligently process and prepare end-of-day financial reports, ensuring all figures are balanced and documented correctly.
• Guest Engagement: Actively and genuinely interact with guests, providing helpful information, answering inquiries, and assisting with various requests to enhance their stay.
• Service Excellence: Consistently demonstrate a superior commitment to customer satisfaction by proactively addressing guest needs and promptly resolving any concerns or issues that may arise during the night shift.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-Level. Candidates should possess an understanding of fundamental financial concepts to ensure accurate auditing and reporting. A core domain knowledge in providing excellent service and a service-oriented mindset within the hospitality sector are essential for engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
• Experience: No specific years of experience are required for this role. While previous hotel experience is not a prerequisite, a background in guest service is highly preferred, demonstrating an ability to interact positively with customers.
• Skills:
• Financial Accuracy: Demonstrated capability to meticulously manage numbers and maintain precise financial records.
• Detail Orientation: A strong ability to focus on specific details, ensuring thoroughness and correctness in all tasks.
